The Role
We're on the lookout for an experienced MIG & TIG Welder to join our client's night shift team, producing high-quality welds from a variety of metals, thickness varies from 0.2mm - 8mm.
Key duties include:
- MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
- Working from technical drawings to meet exact specifications.
- Performing own quality checks to ensure a clean, consistent finish.
- Collaborating with the fabrication team to meet production targets.
- Maintaining a safe, tidy work environment.
What You'll Need
We're looking for a reliable, skilled welder with:
- Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding, ideally in a sheet metal or fabrication setting.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good attention to detail and a pride in producing high-quality finishes.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work well independently.
- Codings are not essential, as the client will put successful candidates through these.
- A relatively stable work history.
