Location: Hybrid – Birkenhead - Tuesday & Thursday in the office
Salary: £26,000 – £32,000

We are currently supporting a rapidly expanding training provider in their search for a MIS & Compliance Coordinator to play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, funding compliance, and audit readiness.

Role Overview

The MIS & Compliance Coordinator is a critical position within the organisation, responsible for maintaining the integrity of learner data, ensuring compliance with DfE funding rules, and supporting a high-quality, audit-ready environment.

You will play a central role in managing learner records, overseeing enrolment compliance, and ensuring all systems (including Bud and ILR processes) are accurate, up to date, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

MIS & Data Management (Core Focus)

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date learner records across all systems (e.g. Bud, ILR)
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency in line with funding requirements
  • Monitor data quality and proactively identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Support timely and accurate ILR submissions

Compliance & Audit Readiness

  • Ensure all learner files meet compliance standards and are audit-ready at all times
  • Carry out regular compliance checks in line with DfE funding rules
  • Support internal and external audits, providing required documentation and evidence
  • Keep up to date with changes in funding rules and compliance requirements

Enrolment & Documentation

  • Oversee the enrolment process to ensure all learners are onboarded compliantly
  • Ensure all learner and employer documentation is complete, accurate, and signed
  • Track onboarding progress and flag any risks or delays

Programme & Certification Administration

  • Manage learner registrations with awarding organisations
  • Coordinate certification processes and ensure timely submissions
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress and completions

Cross-Team Coordination

  • Work closely with Sales, Programme Managers, and Skills Coaches to ensure smooth onboarding and data flow
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to meet funding and regulatory requirements
  • Support the transition from enrolment through to programme delivery

Person Specification

Essential

  • Experience within apprenticeships or funded training
  • Understanding of DfE funding rules and ILR processes
  • Experience using systems such as Bud
  • Experience supporting audits and compliance activities

Desirable

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience working with data, systems, and documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Confident using databases and learner management systems
