Mobile Forklift Engineer

We’re looking for a Mobile Forklift Engineer to join a leading materials handling company, covering the Bristol & surrounding areas. (BS, BA, SN Postcodes) Will also consider technicians & engineers from similar industries (Automotive, HGV, Plant, Ag) looking for a change or into a mobile position.
The Role:
- Service, repair and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown support
- Work independently in a mobile role, with support from the wider service team
- Competitive salary (based on experience)
- 40 or 45 hour working weeks available
- Door-to-door pay + overtime opportunities
- Annual bonus & commission potential
- Company van + fuel card (private use option)
- 25 days holiday + pension scheme
- Full manufacturer training and ongoing support
- Previous experience as a forklift engineer, plant fitter, vehicle technician, or similar
- Strong skills in mechanical, electrical or hydraulic systems
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred, but not essential
- IT literate, able to use technology for reporting and parts ordering
- Full UK driving licence
