Our client, a reputable and nationwide automotive fleet maintenance company, is seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their expanding team in Sheffield and the surrounding region. Benefits for the successful Mobile Vehicle Technician:
- Up to £36,000 basic salary, commensurate with experience
- Performance-based bonus, with on-target earnings of £40,000 to £50,000 annually
- Fully-equipped company van and fuel card
- Guaranteed 5-day working week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
- One in two Saturdays, with a day off during the week for any Saturday worked

- Perform roadside assistance and emergency repairs on customer vehicles within a specified 90-minute radius of Sheffield
- Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models
- Specialise in DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) work and repairs on Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles
- Diagnose and efficiently repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Use hand and power tools to carry out repairs and installations
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Provide mentorship to junior technicians when required
- Extensive “time served” experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work
- Previous experience in mobile or roadside repair work is highly desirable
- Specific experience working on DPF systems and Jaguar or Land Rover vehicles would be advantageous
- Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Possess own tools suitable for the role
- Be dependable, motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills with a proactive approach to safety and quality standards
