Our client, a reputable and expanding fleet maintenance company, is seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a dynamic and autonomous role specialising in roadside assistance, fleet servicing, and DPF system work.   • Up to £40,000 basic salary with an OTE of £45,000
  • 5-day working week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Duties of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct mobile servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicle makes and models in line with manufacturer standards
  • Perform DPF cleaning, inspection, and repair, primarily with the system remaining on the vehicle
  • Support roadside and breakdown assistance as part of the mobile team
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out and parts used
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment in accordance with company policies
  • Mobile Vehicle Technicians support fleet maintenance schedules and deliver timely, quality service
Requirements of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 2 (minimum) or Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in mobile, dealership, or breakdown vehicle repair environments
  • Strong diagnostic skills with experience servicing multiple vehicle brands
  • Familiarity with DPF systems, cleaning procedures, and repairs
  • A full UK driving licence with a clean record
  • Reliable, well-organised, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach
