About the Role
We are looking for an experienced TFM Mobilisation Manager / Mobilisation Lead to support the mobilisation of a major Total Facilities Management contract. This contractor role requires someone capable of overseeing the mobilisation of both hard and soft services, ensuring full operational readiness ahead of go-live.
You will own the mobilisation plan end-to-end—coordinating teams, systems, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver a smooth, compliant, and well-structured transition of services.
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead the full TFM mobilisation across hard and soft services, ensuring all operational areas are ready for service commencement.
-
Develop, manage, and track mobilisation plans, milestones, risk logs, RAID registers, and status reporting.
-
Coordinate with technical services, cleaning, security, catering, grounds, helpdesk, and supply chain teams to ensure unified delivery.
-
Oversee asset validation, life-cycle data capture, statutory compliance checks, and readiness of all TFM deliverables.
-
Manage the setup and configuration of CAFM/EAM systems, PPM schedules, workflows, and service desk functions.
-
Support TUPE processes, onboarding, inductions, vetting, and training of incoming staff.
-
Ensure all statutory, legislative, and contractual obligations are in place and verified pre-go-live.
-
Act as the key client interface throughout mobilisation, providing transparent communications and progress reporting.
-
Capture lessons learned, embedding continuous improvement into mobilisation frameworks.
Skills & Experience Required
-
Proven experience delivering large-scale TFM mobilisations.
-
Background in FM leadership roles—Mobilisation Manager, TFM Manager, Transition Lead, or similar.
-
Strong understanding of both hard FM (mechanical, electrical, building fabric) and soft FM (cleaning, security, catering, etc.).
-
Expertise in mobilisation governance: planning, documentation, RAID, KPIs, SLAs, and compliance.
-
Familiarity with CAFM/EAM systems and FM data transfer requirements.
-
TUPE experience and understanding of HR/people transition processes.
-
Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
-
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
