Our client, a well-established Automotive Manufacturer Dealer Group with over 50 years of operation in the UK, is recruiting for a qualified MOT Technician in South Birmingham.

Duties:
  • Carrying out MOT tests in accordance with legal standards and manufacturer guidelines
  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues efficiently and accurately as an MOT Technician
  • Performing vehicle health checks and providing detailed reports to customers as an MOT Technician
  • Supporting additional repairs as required, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Utilising up-to-date diagnostic tools and technology to identify faults
  • Working collaboratively with the workshop team and supervisors to meet targets
  • Engaging in regular training to stay current with technological advances in vehicle repair
Requirements:
  • Level 3 NVQ, City and Guilds, or equivalent qualification as an MOT Technician
  • Valid MOT Tester’s certification and proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong diagnostic skills and a thorough understanding of modern vehicle systems
  • Ability to perform MOT tests confidently and accurately
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
  • Full UK driving license
  • Professional attitude and good communication skills
