Are you an experienced MOT Technician seeking a new career opportunity? We are working on behalf of a reputable automotive service centre in Maldon, Essex, to appoint a dedicated MOT Technician.   • Competitive salary up to £42,000, commensurate with experience
  • Optional overtime available on Saturday mornings
  • Monday to Friday working week, 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Optional Saturday morning overtime, 8:30am – 1:00pm

Duties:
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with current industry standards and legislation
  • Perform routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and safety protocols as an MOT Technician
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken
  • Provide excellent customer service and technical advice where appropriate
Requirements:
  • Valid MOT Tester qualification and relevant automotive technician certification
  • Proven experience as an MOT Technician within the automotive trade
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and customer-focused approach
