Duties of a MOT Technician:
  • Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of vehicles with precision and attention to detail
  • Conducting MOT tests in accordance with legal requirements and manufacturer standards
  • Performing diagnostics and fault finding using advanced, dealer-level equipment
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest industry standards, first time every time
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and workshop procedures
  • Supporting workshop colleagues through effective teamwork and communication
  • Keeping work areas clean, organised, and efficient
  • Continually developing technical skills through ongoing training programs as a MOT Technician
Requirements of a MOT Technician:
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician with Level 3 (or equivalent) certification
  • Valid MOT licence
  • Strong diagnostic skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Proven experience working in a busy workshop environment
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering quality workmanship
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Demonstrate a desire for long-term career development within the motor trade
