Duties of a MOT Technician:

• Conduct MOT tests in strict accordance with legal requirements and standards.
• Carry out technical inspections, servicing, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models.
• Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and determine necessary repairs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work undertaken, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain work carried out and ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with additional workshop tasks as required to support operational efficiency.

Requirements of a MOT Technician:

• Proven experience as an MOT Tester / Technician in a busy workshop environment.
• Valid MOT testing licence and relevant technical qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and servicing.
• Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and under pressure.
