MOT Technician

Duties of an MOT Technician:

• Perform MOT tests and carry out service repairs on a broad range of vehicles
• Conduct diagnostic work to identify faults quickly and accurately
• Carry out routine maintenance including brakes, tyres, steering, and suspension repairs
• Assist with clutch and cambelt replacements, utilising specialised equipment and expertise
• Cover holiday and absence periods as a Technician & MOT Tester
• Contribute to the smooth operation of the workshop, maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Ensure all work complies with industry safety and quality standards

Requirements of an MOT Technician:

• Valid MOT Tester certification with Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Proven experience as a Technician and MOT Tester within a busy workshop environment
• Strong diagnostic skills across multiple vehicle systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent customer service
• Dedicated to maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
