Multi‑Skilled Joiner – Social Housing

Location: Leeds & surrounding areas
Contract Type: Permanent 
Start: Immediate

We are currently recruiting an experienced Multi‑Skilled Joiner to work for a well‑established contractor delivering repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.

The Role

You will be carrying out a variety of joinery and general maintenance tasks within occupied and void properties, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • All aspects of 1st and 2nd fix joinery
  • Door and window repairs and replacements
  • Kitchen fitting and minor adaptations
  • Basic multi‑trade tasks such as patch plastering, tiling, and minor plumbing (desirable)
  • Working within tenants’ homes in a professional and respectful manner
  • Completing job-related paperwork and updates via mobile devices
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a multi‑skilled joiner, ideally within social housing
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery (preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to pass a DBS check
  • Own tools essential
  • Good customer service and communication skills

  • Company van provided.
