Salary: £38,090 per annum Callout Payments

We are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join a busy Responsive Repairs Team covering homes across West Cornwall. This is a permanent, full-time position working within social housing properties, carrying out high-quality responsive repairs and maintenance works.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Joiner with additional multi-trade skills, capable of completing repairs efficiently and delivering excellent customer service within occupied homes.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out responsive joinery and carpentry repairs across domestic properties
Completing multi-trade maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, plastering, tiling, flooring, and making good works
Delivering first-time fixes wherever possible
Working within occupied social housing properties while maintaining excellent customer care standards
Accurately recording completed works and updating job information using handheld devices/tablets
Ensuring all works are completed in line with Health & Safety procedures and company standards
Diagnosing faults, solving problems, and making informed decisions independently
Participating in the out-of-hours callout rota (additional payment provided)
Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment appropriately
NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Carpentry, Joinery, or equivalent recognised qualification
Demonstrable experience within joinery and carpentry repairs
Multi-trade experience with the ability to complete repairs on first visit
Experience working within a customer-focused maintenance environment
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices
Ability to carry out physical work safely and effectively
Full UK driving licence
Must live within West Cornwall, ideally within 10 miles north of Truro
Previous experience working within social housing or property maintenance
Experience working in occupied domestic properties
Company van and fuel card

Permanent, full-time employment (39 hours per week)
