Multi Skilled Operative

Multi Skilled Operative Required - West London

We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Operative to carry out  refurbishments and general maintenance works across Local Authority properties in West London.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing their own time on site, and delivering a high standard of finish across a range of trades.

Key Duties

• Strip out and remove old kitchens and bathrooms
• Install new kitchens and bathrooms, including fitting units, worktops, sanitary-ware and fixtures
• Flooring installation and repairs
• Tiling to walls and floors
• General carpentry, including first and second fix
• Plumbing works connected to kitchen and bathroom installations
• Minor electrical works where possible (e.g. isolating, reconnecting fittings)
• Patch plastering and making good
• Painting and decorating
• Making good and finishing works to a high standard
• Working safely and in line with site health and safety requirements
• Liaising professionally with tenants in occupied properties

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Operative within social housing or property maintenance
• Strong all-round skills across carpentry, plumbing, tiling, flooring, plastering and decorating
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle to travel to sites
• Valid CSCS card
• Valid Asbestos Awareness certificate
• Valid Working at Heights certificate
• Own hand tools
• Ability to work well with tenants and represent the company professionally

Desirable

• Previous experience working in occupied social housing properties
