Multi-Skilled Technician

As a CBRE Multi-skilled Technician, you will perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on a mechanical, electrical, and other building system. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:
· Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
· Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
· Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Work with available systems to manage and track completion.
· Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
· Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations
· Report violations to Management.
· Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
· Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail .
· Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
· Maintenance infrastructure (1st level) and minor works, including:
· Carry out basic plumbing maintenance and reactive repairs, including tracing and rectifying minor leaks on pipework, fittings, and sanitaryware.
· Respond to toilet and urinal faults (e.g., blockages, flushing failures, minor component replacement) and return facilities to service with minimal disruption.
· Investigate and resolve hot water issues where possible (temperature/pressure checks, local isolations, basic fault finding) and escalate complex faults in line with site procedures.
· Support day-to-day heating comfort by completing first-line checks and minor repairs, including bleeding radiators, checking controls/thermostats, and reporting performance issues.
· Complete joinery tasks such as adjusting, repairing, and replacing doors, frames, hinges, and ironmongery to ensure safe operation and good presentation.
· Undertake fire door remedials and support inspections/installation activities (e.g., checking closers, seals, and signage), ensuring works align with site compliance requirements.
· Install and securely fix notice boards and similar fixtures, including accurate marking-out, safe drilling, and making-good of surfaces.
· Carry out general carpentry and minor fabric works, including studwork, partitions, skirting, architraves, and basic repairs/making-good following maintenance tasks.
· Complete painting and decorating tasks to maintain site standards, including preparation (filling/sanding), patch repairs, and finishing to a consistent, professional quality.
· Install and replace locks and associated door hardware (where authorised), ensuring correct fit, function checks, and secure handover.
· Provide basic locksmith support, including key cutting/issuing (where authorised) and maintaining appropriate records in line with site security procedures.

What You'll Need:
Personal Experience/Qualifications/Skills:
· High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1 2 years of job a combination of experience and education will be considered.
· related experience. In lieu of a diploma, Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
· Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
· Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive minds
