Multiple Roles – HS2 Projects (Birmingham)
Quantity Surveyors | Site Managers | Site Engineers
Location: Birmingham (HS2 Projects)
Rate: Negotiable (DOE)

Project Overview:
Approach Personnel are currently supporting major HS2 infrastructure works across Birmingham and are looking to onboard experienced Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers, and Site Engineers. These are long-term opportunities working on one of the UK’s most high-profile civil engineering projects.

Roles Available:

1. Quantity Surveyor (QS)

• Cost management and commercial reporting
• Managing subcontractor packages and valuations
• Preparing and reviewing contracts
• Working closely with project and site teams to ensure cost control

2. Site Manager

• Overseeing day-to-day site operations
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Managing subcontractors, labour, and materials
• Maintaining H&S and quality standards
• Assisting Project Manager as required

3. Site Engineer

• Setting out and surveying works
• Ensuring technical compliance with drawings and specifications
• Managing QA documentation and site records
• Supporting site teams with engineering expertise

Requirements (All Roles):

• Previous experience working on major infrastructure / civils projects (HS2 experience desirable)
• Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid at work (Site Managers) 
• Relevant qualifications for role (e.g. Degree/HNC/HND in Construction/Civil Engineering or Commercial Management)
• Strong understanding of health & safety and site processes
• Full UK driving licence preferred
