Salary: £45,488.26
Working Hours:
2-shift pattern:
- Days: 7:00am – 3:30pm (5 shifts)
- Nights: 9:00pm – 7:00am (4 shifts)

Job Description:
We are looking for a capable and adaptable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a busy engineering team within a thriving manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on CNC machinery and press equipment, where you will be instrumental in maximising machine reliability, reducing downtime, and improving overall operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on CNC machines and press equipment
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and implementing effective repairs
Supporting production teams to resolve breakdowns quickly and safely
Assisting with installation, commissioning, and relocation of machinery
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
Contributing to continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities
Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
Skills & experience:
Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within manufacturing
Strong knowledge of CNC machinery and press systems
Electrical and mechanical fault-finding expertise
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
PLC fault-finding experience preferred
Proactive problem-solving approach with excellent attention to detail
Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC/HND, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
Desirable:
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience
Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement knowledge
Background in a high-volume production environment
