Are you an experienced National Account Manager looking to take ownership of one of the UK's largest retail accounts?
Our client is a leading protein processor supplying major retailers across the UK. Due to continued growth and ambitious commercial plans, they are looking to appoint a National Account Manager / Commercial Manager to manage and develop their Tesco relationship.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected food manufacturer where you'll play a key role in driving commercial performance, category growth and long-term customer partnerships.
The Role
Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will:
- Manage and develop the Tesco account
- Lead customer negotiations and annual joint business planning
- Deliver sales growth, profitability and strategic objectives
- Work closely with Operations, Technical, NPD and Supply Chain teams
- Analyse market trends, customer performance and competitor activity
- Identify new opportunities for product and category growth
- Build strong relationships across multiple customer stakeholders
We're looking for someone who has:
- Proven National Account Management experience within food manufacturing
- Experience managing major retail accounts, ideally Tesco
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent relationship-building capabilities
- Ability to influence both internally and externally
- Passion for delivering growth and exceptional customer service
- Salary up to £70,000
