Must have’s

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the insurance industry
  • Experience in a sales or new business-focused role
  • Strong understanding of insurance principles and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport and develop long-lasting client relationships
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own diary and workload
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet targets and deadlines
  • Resilient, proactive and customer-focused approach

Nice to have’s

  • Experience within education insurance or working with schools
  • Background in insurance broking or insurer environments
  • Experience using CRM systems and pipeline reporting tools
  • Exposure to conference attendance or networking events

So, what will you be doing?

  • Prospecting and securing new clients across a range of organisations
  • Building and managing your own pipeline using CRM systems
  • Engaging with clients via phone, video and face-to-face meetings
  • Recommending tailored insurance solutions to meet client needs
  • Attending conferences and events to generate new opportunities
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates
  • Collaborating with service and renewal teams to deliver a seamless client experience
  • Supporting relationship management with key partners
  • Identifying cross-sell opportunities across the wider business
