Must have’s
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the insurance industry
- Experience in a sales or new business-focused role
- Strong understanding of insurance principles and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport and develop long-lasting client relationships
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own diary and workload
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet targets and deadlines
- Resilient, proactive and customer-focused approach
Nice to have’s
- Experience within education insurance or working with schools
- Background in insurance broking or insurer environments
- Experience using CRM systems and pipeline reporting tools
- Exposure to conference attendance or networking events
So, what will you be doing?
- Prospecting and securing new clients across a range of organisations
- Building and managing your own pipeline using CRM systems
- Engaging with clients via phone, video and face-to-face meetings
- Recommending tailored insurance solutions to meet client needs
- Attending conferences and events to generate new opportunities
- Providing accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates
- Collaborating with service and renewal teams to deliver a seamless client experience
- Supporting relationship management with key partners
- Identifying cross-sell opportunities across the wider business
