Ingfield Manor School is a non-maintained special school and part of Salutem Care and Education who have services across England and Wales supporting adults and children in residential and educational Environments.
Based in its our own idyllic grounds, Ingfield Manor School offers extensive specialist facilities with the aim to provide an exceptional learning environment, helping children and young people fulfil their potential. Facilities include woodland and outdoor classroom space, high specification sensory room and swimming pool.

Our IMS provision caters for students aged 3—19 years with neurological motor impairment such as Cerebral Palsy and associated medical and sensory needs. Following the Conductive Education approach, Ingfield Manor School focuses on the holistic development of everyone, including their physical and communication skills. Our residential provision Acorns provides respite care for students, from Monday to Friday during term time.
Our Woodview provision is for secondary aged students with special educational needs including speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) and autistic spectrum conditions (ASC)

About The Role
Support Worker (Nights)
Salary: £14,932- £15,092 pa (£13.95- £14.10)
Hours: Monday and Tuesdays, 24 hours per week. Term Time only.
The Night Support Worker is responsible for ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of young people during evening and overnight hours. This includes supporting routines, maintaining a safe environment, and completing required documentation in line with organisational and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Care and Support
- Assist young people with evening and nighttime routines, including settling into bed and supporting morning wake-up routines.
- Provide high standards of physical and emotional care throughout the night.
- Conduct regular overnight checks to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all individuals.
- Maintain the physical environment to high standards of safety, cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
- Carry out routine domestic duties such as light cleaning and laundry between bedroom checks.
- Ensure the security of the premises at all times, including completing safety checks.
- Take an active role in fire evacuation procedures and emergency situations.
- Liaise effectively with evening and early morning staff, including delivering and receiving formal handovers.
- Accurately communicate any concerns, incidents, or changes in wellbeing that require action.
- Complete all required paperwork, including night logs and wellbeing records, prior to the end of each shift.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and contribute to achieving organisational goals and inspection standards.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements.
- Participate in training and ongoing professional development programmes.
- Support the physical needs of young people where required.
