Key Responsibilities As a Class Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with curriculum expectations
- Ensure teaching meets the individual needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
- Track, assess and report on pupil progress accurately
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers and external professionals
- Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement and wellbeing
- Support pupils in becoming independent, confident learners
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice
- Take responsibility for a curriculum area where required
