TeacherActive is proud to be working with a supportive Flying Start setting in Newport, providing a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning through engaging early years experiences. The setting is committed to creating positive outcomes for children and families within the local community.

The setting is looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant on a part-time, long-term basis until July 2026. The successful Nursery Assistant will work Monday to Friday from 12:15pm to 3:45pm during term time only, supporting children's learning and development, delivering engaging activities and helping to maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive early years environment.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 3 Childcare Qualification
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Phase / EYFS framework
• A caring, patient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive and proactive attitude
