Start Date: 11th May 2026
Contract: Temporary (Minimum 9 months, with potential extension)
Hours: 08:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Are you a passionate and experienced Early Years practitioner looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse / Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming early years setting on a maternity cover basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting young children during a crucial stage of their development within a supportive and engaging environment.

About the Role

You will:

• Take responsibility for a group of part-time nursery children, ensuring their care, learning, and development needs are met
• Support across the wider nursery classroom to maintain a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment
• Assist with observations, planning, and daily nursery routines
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality early years provision

Essential Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years Education (or equivalent)
• Significant experience within a nursery or early years setting
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Ability to support both educational and care needs of young children
• A team player who can also work independently when required
