Job Title: Nursery Housekeeper

• Location: Shire House | Gerrards Cross

• Hours: Part-time (20-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

• Rota: 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM

• Pay: Starting from £12.71 per hour

• Job Type: Part-time, In person

About the Role

As a Nursery Housekeeper, you will:

• Keep playrooms, bathrooms, and shared areas clean and hygienic, ready for busy little explorers.

• Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, and the correct storage of all laundry.

• Support the team with daily cleaning routines, helping maintain our high standards of care.

• Help us create a warm, home-from-home environment where children feel safe and nurtured.

• Ensure effective communication with colleagues and management regarding daily cleaning schedules, supply needs, and any maintenance issues.

What we are looking for:

• A genuine love for working in an environment with children.

• A great eye for detail and a genuine pride in your work.

• Ability to plan ahead, stay organised, and work independently.

• Understanding of (or willingness to learn) basic health, safety, and hygiene procedures.

• Responsibility for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation in all areas.

• A positive attitude and a caring approach to everything you do.
