Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-Time, Contract (Maternity Cover: June 2026 – June 2027)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (Rotating shifts: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Nursery Manager to lead this premium setting on a fixed-term contract covering a maternity leave. You will take full operational responsibility for the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and safety for all children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations and smooth running of the nursery.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a dedicated team of early years practitioners.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with parents, providing regular updates on progress.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
  • Manage staff shift patterns, nursery budgets, and occupancy levels.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Qualification: Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a Nursery Management position (essential).
  • Pedagogy: Montessori training is highly preferred, though not essential.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
