Prospero Teaching is currently working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established nursery in Frome to recruit a Nursery Manager. This is a full-time position offering a temp-to-permanent pathway, providing the opportunity to step into a long-term leadership role within a supportive setting.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Nursery Manager to lead daily operations, ensure high standards of care and education, and support the ongoing development of staff and children alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery
• Lead, support, and develop the nursery team
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted and EYFS standards
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
• Manage staffing, ratios, and overall nursery performance

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years (minimum) - Level 5 or above desirable
• Previous experience in a senior or management role within a nursery setting
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• A passion for delivering outstanding early years provision
