As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and learning are maintained at all times. The successful Nursery Manager will lead, motivate, and develop a passionate team of childcare professionals, creating a positive and supportive working environment where both children and staff can flourish.

The ideal Nursery Manager will have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding procedures, and Ofsted requirements. You will be confident in managing occupancy, supporting staff development, building strong relationships with parents, and ensuring the nursery continues to deliver an exceptional experience for every child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire the nursery team to deliver outstanding childcare and education.
• Ensure full compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements.
• Support recruitment, training, and ongoing staff development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals.
• Monitor nursery performance, occupancy, and overall quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement across all areas of the setting.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Nursery Manager or in a senior leadership role within an early years setting.
• Relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 or above).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards.
• A genuine passion for early years education and child development.
