Job Description
As a Key Worker, you will take responsibility for a small group of six children, ensuring they receive high‑quality care, support, and developmental guidance. Your role will include:
- Providing nurturing, high‑quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 4 years
- Observing children’s development and maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date records
- Using Tapestry to document achievements and progress toward the Early Learning Goals
- Supporting children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development
- Working closely with parents and carers to ensure individual needs are met
- Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive, stimulating learning environment
- Ensuring all safeguarding and welfare requirements are met at all times
What You Will Need
- A relevant early years qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent)
- Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting
- A genuine passion for early years education and child development
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
