Job Description

As a Key Worker, you will take responsibility for a small group of six children, ensuring they receive high‑quality care, support, and developmental guidance. Your role will include:

• Providing nurturing, high‑quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 4 years
• Observing children’s development and maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date records
• Using Tapestry to document achievements and progress toward the Early Learning Goals
• Supporting children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development
• Working closely with parents and carers to ensure individual needs are met
• Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive, stimulating learning environment
• Ensuring all safeguarding and welfare requirements are met at all times

What You Will Need

• A relevant early years qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent)
• Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting
• A genuine passion for early years education and child development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
