Nursery Practitioner

Are you a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse looking for flexible work within supportive early years settings? Stafflex Education is currently recruiting Nursery Nurses to support a variety of nurseries and early years provisions across Huddersfield on a temporary supply basis.

We are looking for practitioners available for day-to-day cover, short-term bookings, and potential longer-term opportunities. This is a fantastic chance to gain experience in different settings while enjoying the flexibility to fit work around your lifestyle.

• Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years
• Support children's development in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
• Assist with daily routines including feeding, changing, and nap times
• Encourage social, emotional, and language development through play and activities
• Work closely with nursery staff to support children's individual needs
• Follow safeguarding procedures and nursery policies at all times

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working within nursery or early years settings
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
• A positive, patient, and nurturing approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
