A fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced logistics and transport operation within a growing manufacturing and distribution business.
This role sits within the Transport Planning team and would suit someone organised, proactive and comfortable working in a busy operational environment. You'll be responsible for supporting day-to-day transport coordination, liaising with customers and hauliers, and ensuring delivery schedules run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Transport Planning team with daily administration
* Building and updating loads on the internal system
* Pulling reports and identifying delivery or transport issues
* Liaising with customers, hauliers and warehouse teams
* Handling inbound and outbound calls regarding deliveries and schedules
* Investigating orders that have not been delivered or processed correctly
* Maintaining accurate transport and planning records
* Supporting the smooth running of daily logistics operations
Ideal Background:
* Previous administration or customer service experience
* Experience within logistics, transport or warehouse environments beneficial
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Confident using internal systems and Microsoft Office
* Able to work well in a fast-paced operational environment
* Reliable with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
