Job title: Operational Project Manager

Contract length: 6 months contract

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Package Repair Coordinator to join a World leader offering Products, Solutions and Services across the entire Energy value chain on behalf of a well established manufacturing organisation to play a key role in supporting Manufacturing Operations. You will shape a competitive, sustainable supply chain, partnering globally to drive productivity, quality, and digitalization.
You will accurately detail project progress through our internal Project Management system, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all details. Collaborate with third-party services and vendors to meet project specifications, while managing scope, time, cost, and quality. Your role will involve communicating project updates to stakeholders and liaising with the Engineering team to define scopes and requirements, ensuring a right-first-time delivery. Work closely with the Workshop Supervisor to drive project success and efficiency.

Some of the duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and manage the initial tender process to help win new project contracts.

  • Handle the financial management, budgeting, and commercial reporting for projects throughout their entire life cycle.

  • Accurately log and detail all project developments and milestones using the internal company Project Management software.

  • Collaborate with and coordinate outside services and suppliers to ensure they meet project specifications and requirements.

  • Directly manage and lead the scope, technical specifications, timelines, overall costs, and quality standards of assigned projects through ASC.

  • Partner closely with the Engineering team to define project scopes, and work hand-in-hand with the Workshop Supervisor and Facility Planner to ensure smooth execution.

  • Provide regular, clear project updates to partners and stakeholders to maintain visibility and team alignment.

  • Drive operational efficiency and maintain a high standard of excellence to guarantee a right-first-time delivery.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading the entire project lifecycle, with a specific background in managing tenders (bidding on contracts) and handling commercial/financial reporting.

  • Practical experience coordinating, collaborating with, and effectively managing third-party services and outside vendors.

  • Outstanding communication and engagement skills to successfully interact with stakeholders, partners, and internal business cross-functional teams.

  • The ability to work closely with technical and operational teams—such as Engineering and Workshop Supervisors—to define project scopes and achieve collective goals.

  • High organizational skills paired with strong attention to detail to ensure accurate tracking and recording of project progress within internal software systems.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with rotating equipment (such as pumps, compressors, or turbines), which is highly preferred for this specific facility.

  • Hands-on experience navigating and accurately updating internal digital Project Management systems.

  • Experience collaborating closely with on-the-floor personnel like a Workshop Supervisor or a Facility Planner to sync office schedules with physical workshop production.
