Operations Coordinator

P+S Recruitment are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking an Operations Coordinator to work in Loddon on a full-time, permanent basis.
This role will support the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of projects and operations, while maintaining exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of projects and operations in line with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Manage client enquiries from initial contact through to project completion, preparing quotations, maintaining strong customer relationships, and identifying opportunities to promote additional services.
- Monitor project costs, revenue, margins, invoices, and payments to support commercial performance and budget control.
- Coordinate logistics, supply chain activities, contractors, base agents, stock control, equipment certification, and operational resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain accurate project, operational, and compliance documentation, ensuring all records are current and approved.
- Support Health, Safety, Security, Environmental, Quality (HSSEQ) compliance and contribute to the resolution of corrective actions, non-conformances, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and operational excellence.
- Prepare operational reports and provide support to management as required.
- Attend client meetings and provide out-of-hours operational support on a rotational basis.
- Assist with quality management systems, supplier assessments, training activities, and other duties as required by the business.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in operations, logistics, project coordination, or a similar role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience managing operational costs, invoicing, and commercial performance.
- Knowledge of supply chain coordination, contractor management, and logistics processes.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Calm and professional approach when working under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make reasoned decisions.
- Experience within offshore, maritime, oil & gas, or related industries would be advantageous.
Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday 37.5hrs
