Operations & Facilities Coordinator

Job Location:               Poole, Dorset

Job Type:                     Permanent

Salary:                         Up to £29,000 per annum

Hours:                          37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

We are currently recruiting for a well-established distributor based in Poole who are recruiting for an Operations & Facilities Coordinator on a permanent basis.

Within this role you will be supporting the operations team to ensure the smooth running of facilities, contractors, compliance activities, reporting, training coordination and day-to-day operational processes. 


Key duties will include;

  • Provide administrative support to the Operations team
  • Coordinate projects, tasks, and day-to-day operational activities
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and track KPIs
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and filing systems
  • Coordinate site maintenance, repairs, and contractor activities
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Manage contractor documentation, access, and compliance processes
  • Support Health & Safety administration, audits, and training coordination
  • Maintain compliance records and training data
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

For this role you will have;

  • Experience of working in an administration / coordination role
  • Experience working in a health & safety, warehouse, logistics or manufacturing industry
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills 
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) 
  • Ability to gather, analyse and present operational data and KPI information
