We are looking for a self-motivated, highly organised Operations Manager who can evidence previous achievement of targets.

We are a fast-moving small business in the arena of environmental mitigation of water pollution called  Nutrient Neutrality. Our business is growing and we are now looking for an operations manager to take responsibility for managing our major contracts, under the Our Rivers brand.  Previous experience in nutrient neutrality is useful but not essential.

We provide technical training however numeracy, IT literacy and a proven interest in science is important, as is a keen interest in how the market is evolving.

The successful candidate will work 5 days a week at our Howle Business Park office (TF10 8AY) and have a full driving licence.

This role is not suitable for a candidate who has recently graduated. We are looking for at least 5 years experience in a commercial setting.

Remuneration and benefits

Operations Manager – Our Rivers, a division of Nutrient Neutral

Objectives

Manage our two current major contracts to completion, achieving target Phosphorus mitigation in each.

Provide market audits for new business development and work with the Directors to establish new market offerings

Key tasks

Manage our client pipeline so that clients move smoothly from registration to installation.

Provide monthly management information to the Directors and Partners Board

Manage our team of Environmental Consultants

Manage our partner suppliers to ensure we meet our deadlines

Manage major client relationships and local councils

Develop and provide client communications

Manage marketing comms to attract new clients

Review current processes and implement changes to improve efficiencies

Provide operations support in development of nutrient credit trading capability throughout England and Wales
