Operations Manager - PFI

We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a multi-site Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contract across three sites in Bristol and Somerset. As Operations Manager, you will oversee all operational, financial, and compliance activity across three court sites, leading a team of up to 20 people. You'll ensure the contract delivers against KPIs, maintains statutory and technical compliance, and continues to achieve high client satisfaction.

• Leading the delivery of a multi-site PFI contract and ensuring full contractual compliance
• Managing budgets, performance, and service delivery with a focus on sustainability and long-term value
• Supporting and developing Site Managers and operational teams
• Managing supplier relationships and ensuring KPIs/SLA obligations are met
• Overseeing health & safety across all sites
• Leading lifecycle planning and annual work scheduling
• Running monthly performance meetings with the client
• Driving continuous improvement, governance, and customer excellence
• Conducting staff performance reviews and supporting wellbeing initiatives

• 2-3 years of PFI contract management experience - essential
• Strong leadership experience within multi-site operational environments
• Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver consistent results
• Technical or FM qualification (IWFM or NEBOSH preferred)
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer relationship skills
• A resilient, confident decision-maker with a people‑focused approach

• Based across three sites, with travel required between locations
