Chase Taylor Recruitment are working on behalf of a well-established and reputable manufacturer within the aluminium windows and doors industry who are looking to recruit an experienced Order Processor to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous order processing experience within the aluminium fenestration industry who is looking to join a fast-paced and supportive business. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently from quotation through to production.

The company specialises in the manufacture and supply of high-quality aluminium glazing solutions, delivering bespoke products to trade, commercial, and residential sectors across the UK.

The Role

As an Order Processor, you will be responsible for processing orders for aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling, and glazing systems, ensuring all specifications, measurements, and technical details are accurate prior to production.

You will work closely with customers, estimators, production teams, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing orders for aluminium windows, doors, bifold doors, curtain walling, and glazing systems
• Reviewing quotations, technical specifications, and architectural drawings prior to production release
• Checking dimensions, configurations, hardware, profiles, glazing specifications, and system requirements
• Liaising with customers and internal departments to resolve technical queries and order amendments
• Ensuring all orders comply with manufacturing and system supplier requirements
• Updating internal systems with accurate order and project information
• Coordinating with production teams to ensure lead times and delivery schedules are achieved
• Managing order revisions and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the process
• Providing a high level of customer service throughout the project lifecycle
• Supporting sales and commercial teams with technical and order-related queries

Candidate Requirements

• Previous order processing experience within the aluminium windows and doors industry is essential
• Strong knowledge of aluminium glazing systems, windows, doors, and curtain walling products
• Experience using industry software such as LogiKal, Business Micros, Window Designer, or similar systems would be advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across multiple departments
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• A proactive and solution-focused approach
