We are currently looking for an OTC Trader & Buyer to join a leading healthcare company based in the Bedfordshire area. As the OTC Trader & Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and trading over-the-counter (OTC) products across the UK and international markets.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the OTC Trader & Buyer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Source and purchase OTC medicines, healthcare products, vitamins, and wellness products.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers.
3. Negotiate pricing, rebates, and supply agreements.
4. Monitor market trends, shortages, and demand to identify profitable trading opportunities.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the OTC Trader & Buyer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in OTC purchasing, pharmaceutical buying, healthcare product procurement, or OTC trading.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Excel and business systems.
