Paint Shop Labourer

Major Recruitment is working with a well-established and forward-thinking signage manufacturer to recruit a General Labourer for their busy Powder Coating Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sand and prepare metal parts ready for powder coating
• Clean components thoroughly to remove dust, oil, and contaminants
• Mask specific areas to prevent coating where required
• Safely hang and remove parts from racks and hooks
• Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Wear all required PPE and follow health & safety procedures at all times

• Good attention to detail
• Physically fit and comfortable standing for long periods
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Working Environment:

• Fast-paced production setting
• Exposure to dust, heat, and noise
• PPE must be worn at all times
• Overtime may be available depending on workload
