The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a well-established property maintenance team, delivering high-quality work across a portfolio of residential properties.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in their work and is confident working across a variety of properties, maintaining exceptional standards of finish and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out interior and exterior painting and decorating works
• Prepare surfaces and apply finishes to walls, doors, skirting, and woodwork
• Hang and line wallpaper to a high standard
• Complete French polishing where required
• Work alongside other trades to ensure a high-quality final finish
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
• Participate in a seasonal shift and on-call rota

Requirements

• NVQ or City & Guilds in Painting & Decorating
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and application techniques
• Good understanding of health & safety and COSHH regulations
• Ability to work at height and safely use ladders/scaffolding
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
