Duties of a Panel Beater:
  • Carry out comprehensive panel repairs on a wide range of vehicles, from minor dents to major structural alignments
  • Work with materials including steel, aluminium, and composites
  • Straightening, welding, filling, and realigning damaged panels to manufacturer standards
  • Ensure all repairs meet industry safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues in paint and Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim (MET) departments to maintain workflow
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Requirements of a Panel Beater:
  • Proven experience as a Panel Beater or Bodyshop Technician
  • ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and able to commute easily to the Croydon area
  • Knowledge of working with different materials including steel, aluminium, and composites
