We are recruiting on behalf of a leading accident repair group in Southampton for a highly skilled Panel Beater. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Panel Beater to join a reputable organisation recognised for its commitment to quality, staff development, and professional growth. The successful candidate will be integral to delivering high standards of vehicle repair and customer satisfaction.

  • Competitive basic salary of approximately £54,600, with an OTE of up to £57,000 including overtime

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00, with the possibility of working one in two Saturdays paid at overtime

Duties of the Panel Beater:
  • Undertake replacement and repair of damaged bodywork panels
  • Conduct chassis and framework repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Assess vehicle damage accurately and apply suitable repair methods
  • Complete bumper and door repair works as necessary
  • Ensure all panel beating and repair works meet internal and external quality standards
  • Work collaboratively within a team to maintain efficient and safe workshop operations
Requirements:
  • Previous time-served Panel Beater experience within an ARC, main dealer, or bodyshop environment
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair is preferred
  • ATA Panel Beating accreditation is advantageous
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Own tools and equipment
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A proactive, “can do” attitude with problem-solving abilities
