Job Title: Panel Wirer
Location: Wakefield
Pay Rate: £15.86 per hour
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 6:30am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 12:00 noon
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Panel Wirer to join our team in Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to work with a well-established company, contributing to the assembly and wiring of high-quality electrical control panels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wiring and assembly of electrical control panels to technical drawings and schematics
- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and layout plans
- Installing components such as relays, circuit breakers, and control devices
- Ensuring all work meets quality standards and complies with relevant regulations
- Conducting basic testing and fault-finding where required
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in panel wiring or a similar electrical role
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
- Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
