Role: Paralegal – Children Law Department

HAB Law are looking for an experienced Paralegal in our Children Law Department, we’re not just any law firm — we’re a highly commended, award-winning practice making a real difference. What We Value in This Role

• Completed your LPC or started the SQE
• Hands-on experience with private/public children matters (child arrangement orders, prohibited steps order and or specific issue order.)
• Detail-oriented, highly organised, and deadline-driven
• A true team player who brings energy and support to colleagues
• Confident in IT systems, legal aid (CCMS)

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Delivering high-quality client care
• Drafting key legal documents: C100s, C1As, witness statements
• Managing files via our case management system and ensuring compliance
• Attending client conferences and working closely with counsel
• Advising clients with clarity and empathy
• Navigating Legal Aid applications via the CCMS portal
• Preparing court bundles and instructions to counsel
• Conducting legal research to support case strategy
• Advocacy experience is a bonus – if not, we’ll support you to get there
