About the role

As a Paraplanner / Technical Financial Planner, you will:

• Prepare high-quality suitability reports and compliant recommendation documentation
• Analyse complex financial information and translate it into clear, client-focused solutions
• Support advisers with technical research and financial planning strategies
• Develop integrated advice across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning
• Use financial planning and cashflow modelling tools to support client outcomes
• Maintain strong regulatory standards and ensure accuracy across all work

What we’re looking for

You will ideally have:

• Experience in a Paraplanning or technical financial planning role
• A Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or working towards this)
• Strong technical knowledge of UK pensions, investments, protection and tax planning
• Experience producing suitability reports and compliant advice documentation
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information
• Experience with financial planning software and cashflow modelling tools
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to regulatory accuracy
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team
• Excellent written communication skills
