About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Welfare Operative to join our team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining welfare facilities to a high standard, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining welfare units, offices, kitchens, and toilets.
- Restocking consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies.
- Ensuring welfare areas are clean, hygienic, and presentable at all times.
- Carrying out basic health and safety checks.
- Reporting maintenance issues and hazards.
- Following company health and safety procedures.
- Supporting site teams with general welfare-related duties.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning, facilities, or welfare experience preferred.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
- CSCS card required
- Knowledge of health and safety practices is an advantage
