We are recruiting for a Partner (Accountancy Practice) on behalf of an ambitious accountancy practice, to join the team at the firm’s office in the Fylde coastal region of Lancashire. This role is open to applications from those with varying levels of experience at Director, Partner, Partner Designate level within a practice environment, with broad, all round experience across the accountancy disciplines.
This is a key role within the business, and the successful candidate will receive a good salary in line with market rates and is negotiable and an excellent benefits package, which includes 4x salary life assurance, 25 days annual leave and ability to buy additional days leave (up to five days), enhanced family leave policies and company sick pay, employee support programme and corporate discounts. As Partner (Accountancy Practice), shaping the future of this office, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of clients, with responsibility for generating up to £1M in revenue annually
- Align office goals with the overarching vision of the firm
- Provide leadership to reduce risk and drive innovation within the office and the wider firm
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality services, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and statutory standards
- Perform final reviews of complex client files to guarantee value, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Actively promote the firm’s products and services, leveraging cross-office and referral opportunities
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive, values-driven environment
- Provide clear leadership and direction, setting performance goals and holding teams accountable
- Define and implement strategies to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Model and uphold the highest standards of professional behaviour, technical expertise, and ethical conduct
- Monitor billing targets and financial performance, taking proactive action to address underperformance
- Drive efficiency and profitability through best practices, leveraging technology to optimize processes
- Ensure effective financial management practices are implemented and adhered to within the office
- Ensure the office complies with all relevant legal, ethical, and statutory regulations
- Identify and address risks proactively, implementing appropriate measures to mitigate them
- Share best practices across the Hub and Group to enhance operational standards and reduce risks organisation-wide

- Be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of five years post qualified experience gained with a UK accountancy practice
