Parts Advisor

Job Description:
We are searching for a Parts & Aftersales Advisor to join a growing team at a reputable garden machinery distribution company based in Swindon. This role will start following a successful interview.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers, including members of the public (B2C) and trade clients (B2B), over the phone and online with parts inquiries
• Parts Catalogues and stock systems
• Identify and recommend the correct parts based on customer needs
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance
• Upsell additional products and services when appropriate
• Handle customer complaints and returns professionally
• Process sales transactions using our premier stock system
• Prepare invoices, quotes, and purchase orders
• Coordinate with suppliers and service technicians for part orders

Requirements:

• Experience in lawnmower, garden machinery, or automotive parts sales (preferred but not essential)
• Great customer service skills in high demand B2C/B2B
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to use parts lookup software and online catalogues
• Basic computer skills (MS Office)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Pay and Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00

A technical background in small engines, lawn equipment, or mechanics is preferred but not essential. Experience in a similar role is also beneficial.
