Our client, a leading vehicle salvage and parts recycling company based in Thame, Oxfordshire, is seeking to recruit a Vehicle Parts Sales Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a well-established business with a strong reputation in the industry. The Vehicle Parts Sales Advisor will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, managing parts stock, and supporting workshop technicians.
Benefits:
- Starting salary of £26,280, with the potential to earn over £30,000 OTE through bonuses
- Regular working hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:00am to 4:45pm Friday
- 28 days annual leave, increasing to 33 days with service, inclusive of bank holidays

- Handle telephone and email enquiries from motor trade clients and the public seeking recycled or green automotive parts
- Ensure accurate identification, picking, and dispatch of parts orders
- Maintain effective parts stock control and inventory management
- Support vehicle technicians by supplying the correct parts in a timely manner
- Promote excellent customer service and technical knowledge during interactions
- Work closely with the Parts Manager and team to meet targets and ensure smooth operations
- Utilise electronic parts catalogue systems daily for order processing and stock management
- Basic mechanical understanding of vehicles
- Strong communication skills across telephone, email, and web chat platforms
- IT literacy, with experience using electronic parts catalogue systems preferred
- Customer-focused attitude with a positive approach to team collaboration
- Previous experience as a Parts Sales Advisor in the motor trade is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple enquiries
