We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Technical Specialist based in Bedfordshire for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.
Summary of the Parts Technical Specialist role
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Location: Bedfordshire
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
Responsibilities of the Parts Technical Specialist
- Identify and source spare parts for a wide range
- First point of contact for parts telephone and email customer enquiries
- Interpreting technical drawings
- Preparing and issuing parts quotations
- Liasing with suppliers
- Maintaining accurate records
- Provide technical guidance to customers
- Assist with maintaining the web shop
Requirements for a successful Parts Technical Specialist
- Previous experience in a customer-facing parts, technical sales or technical support role
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- Competent with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
