Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit an excellent Pastoral Manager to lead the overview of students' attendance for an identified cohort with a view to continual improvement and the removal of barriers.

- Hours - 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Work with the AHT (Attendance & Admissions) and other pastoral staff to ensure the implementation of the attendance and punctuality strategy.
- Ensure a smooth day to day operation of attendance and absence monitoring for a specific cohort of students.
- To complete Home Visit welfare checks for students with flagging attendance concerns.
- To undertake regular student voice activities and take necessary action on feedback.
- To ensure all students display positive behaviour and learning behaviours
- To contribute to the effective operational activities, including attendance at meetings, events and activities as required.
- To lead, support and encourage the highest possible standards of behaviour, learning, attainment and achievement.
- Monitor the effectiveness of absence interventions in place to support students across the identified cohort.
- Liaise, as appropriate, with internal / external stakeholders and outside agencies.
- Promote parent / carers engagement with regards to positive attendance amongst the identified cohort of students.
To be eligible:
- Previous experience working with children
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
- Provide at least two professional references covering at least 24 months/cover the last 2 years
